The fermentation processes orientation in the digestive canal, nitrogen concentration of nitrogen-containing compounds in the rumen, the average discharge of volatile fatty acids from stool and growth at different levels of zeolite in the diet of calves in the summer was the aim of the investigation. Calves of control, I and II experimental groups were fed of mown grasses and legumes for 90 days (May–August). Moreover in addition, all experimental calves received a standard loose friable feed. Insufficient number undegradable acid detergent fiber in the calves diet of I and II research groups were added by introducing them zeolite in an amount under 0.3 and 0.5 g / kg body weight.
It is established that exposure fed zeolite in liquid contents four- scar. five- and six-month feeding calves to the morning and at 2 and 4 o’clock from the beginning, as a result of the synthesis of the major body components of microorganisms decreases the concentration of ammonia nitrogen and amino nitrogen, but protein and total nitrogen levelwere increased. According impact fed zeolite powder and intensification of anabolic processes in the body weight increases four-, five- and six-month calves. Fed zeolite in an amount of 0.5 g / kg body weight is most pronounced in the rumen stimulates the conversion of non-protein nitrogen in the form of protein and increases body weight gain of calves.
